The challenge
Traveling across Europe by car introduces various tolls and vignettes that differ between countries and cities. For the unfamiliar traveler, failing to pay these fees can result in hefty fines that far exceed the actual costs of tolls or vignettes. While apps exist to simplify aspects like parking, route planning, and finding fuel stations, managing toll payments remains a fragmented and often confusing process.

The goal
Flitsmeister is market-leader in offering an all-in-one mobility application. Recently, one of the first and only toll-roads in the Netherlands was opened. Flitsmeister launched a service that offers toll-payment services through their platform, using GPS to determine if you have driven over set toll-road.
Many platforms already provide flexible toll payment options, whether through physical receivers or official government websites for vignettes. However, none seamlessly integrate these services with other essential features like route planning, parking payments, or real-time route safety updates. Therefore the decision had been made to make SuperZoll a Flitsmeister intergration in its current offering.

Business case
Although recently launched, Flitsmeister has already established a presence across Europe. This positions the service as a strong contender for expanding its toll payment capabilities to additional countries that support digital toll or vignette payments.

Features
To define the integration, we created a set of user stories that detail the key features of SuperZoll. Each user story includes acceptance criteria, providing a clear framework for future evaluation.

User-journey
In addition to defining user stories, a user journey was developed to outline the application's key features and their interrelationships. While SuperZoll is intended as an integration, it is essential to map out the concept as a standalone entity to ensure a comprehensive understanding of its functionality and user experience.

Wireframing
To test out some of the first functions, wireframes are created to test the basic functionalities of the new app intergration.
